All the women were important to there self sufficient society, the peasants would farm on the land all day to produce enough food for there manor. The manor lord was a important person because unless you were married the lord decided where you would work. A important event in your life as a women would be, your wedding when you get married it is almost like a promotion from a field worker to someone who works in her husbands home.
